So Trump, at last, concedes electoral defeat, urging prayers for the incoming administration (as well as luck if the Almighty chokes on his Cornflakes at the sheer hypocrisy of this request) and extending his best wishes to the incoming government.
Generous. Gracious even.
All very unremarkable really, if you are able to ignore every utterance he has made over the past four years.
Still, like Cawdor in Shakespeare's Macbeth, nothing in his Presidency has become him like the leaving of it.
